Poem on Friendship by: Ravee
You're a friend of mine
Striking out?
Well count me in
I'm gonna stand right by your side through thick or thin.
Ain't no doubt
Gonna win
A walk through hell ain't bad compared to where we've been.
Oh! you can depend on me
Over and over...
Know that I intend to be the one who always makes you laugh until you cry,
and you can call on me until the day you die.
Years may come and go
Here's one thing I know
All my life,
You're a friend of mine.
What if mountains fall?
Nothin' left at all!
I'll be fine
Becoz you're a friend of mine.
Poem on Friendship by: Hariharan S
Factually, one of the best moments
Remaining in my heart of hearts
Inevitably none other than you
Evident from my action towards thou
Need no proof for the greatest ship
Destined to be your greatest friend in this friend-ship.
First to wish you on your birthday
Relishing every moment with you that day
Ignoring the changes in your moods
Expecting you to provide me the food
Never again will we ever part
Despite everything that happened in the past.
Forget not the moments that we relish
Round and round the rose bush
Igniting the light of our great love
Enough to burn the field we plough
Not again should we ever part
Death will only tear us apart
Poem on Friendship by: Vijaydeep Sharma
If you're lonely,
And need a friend,
And troubles seem like
They never end,
Just remember to keep the Faith,
And Love will be there to Light the Way.
Anytime you need a friend,
I will be here.
You'll never be alone again,
So don't you fear.
Even if you're miles away,
I'm by your side.
So don't you ever be lonely.
Love will make it alright.
When the shadows are closing in,
And your Spirit diminishing,
Just remember you're not alone,
And Love will be there,
To Guide you Home.
Poem on Friendship by: Prem Kumar N
Friendship is not just a word,
Friendship is not at all about spending time,
Friendship is not an expectation,
Unfortunately it cannot be defined,
& that is known as FRIENDSHIP.
Poem on Friendship by: Aryan
Dear Friend,
When I ask you a flower,
You give me a bouquet.
When I ask you a stone,
You give me a statue.
When I ask you a feather,
You give me a peacock.
My friend told me: Are you really deaf?
And I answered : Of course, I am deaf when my friend needs my eyes for herself. :-)
Poem on Friendship by: Anpurna
A friend is somebody
Who knows you and likes you
Exactly the way that you are...
Someone who's special
And so close in thought
That no distance can ever seem far.
A friend understands you without any words,
Stands by you when nothing goes right...
And willingly talks over problems with you
Till they somehow just vanish from sight.
And whether you're neighbors or live miles apart,
A word from a friend gives a lift
To your heart and spirit that shows you once more
Why friendship is life's dearest gift!
Poem on Friendship by: William Shakespeare
When to the session of sweet silent thought
I summon up remembrance of things past,
I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought,
And with old woes new wail my dear time's waste:
Then can I drown an eye, unused to flow,
For precious friends hid in deathšs dateless night,
And weep afresh love's long since cancelled woe,
And moan the expense of many a vanishšd sight:
Then can I grieve at grievances foregone,
And heavily from woe to woe tell o'er
The sad account of fore-bemoaned moan,
Which I new pay as if not paid before.
But if the while I think on thee, dear friend,
All losses are restored and sorrows end.
Poem on Friendship by: P. B. Shelly
It is a sweet thing, friendship, a dear balm,
A happy and auspicious bird of calm...

The Best of Friends
The best of friends,
Can change a frown,
Into a smile,
when you feel down.
The best of friends,
Will understand,
Your little trials,
And lend a hand.
The best of friends,
Will always share,
Your secret dreams,
Because they care.
The best of friends,
Worth more than gold,
Give all the love,
A heart can hold.
Poem on Friendship by: Unknown
Could we but draw back the curtain,
That surrounds each others lives,
See the naked heart and spirit;
Know what spur the action gives;
Often we would find it better,
Purer then we think we would.
We would love each other better,
If we only understood.
Poem on Friendship by: Andrea
There's lots of things
With which I'm blessed,
My problems have been few,
But of all, this one's the best:
To have a friend like you.
In times of trouble
Friends will say,
"Just ask, I'll help you through it."
But you don't wait for me to ask,
You just get up and do it!
And I can think
of nothing more
That I could wisely do,
Than know a friend,
And be a friend,
And have a friend like you.
Poem on Friendship by: H. W. Longfellow
I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.
I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,
That it can follow the flight of song?
Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friend.
Poem on Friendship by: William Shakespeare
Blow, Blow, thou winter wind!
Thou art not so unkind
As man's ingratitude
Thy tooth is not so keen
Because thou art not seen.
Although thy breath be rude.
Heigh ho! sing, heigh ho! unto the green holly;
Most friendship is feigning most loving mere folly.
Then, heigh ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.
Freeze, freeze, thou bitter sky,
That dost not bite so ngh
As benefits forgot:
Though thou the watters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
As friend remembered not.
Heigh-ho! sing heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning, most love mere folly:
Then heigh-ho, the holly!
This life is most Jolly.
Poem on Friendship by: William Shakespeare
When my love swears that she is made of truth
I do believe her though I know she lies,
That she might think me some untutored youth
Unlearned in the world's false subtleties.
Thus vainly thinking that she thinks me young,
Although she knows my days are past the best,
Simply I credit her false-speaking tongue;
On both sides thus is simple truth suppressed.
But wherefore says she not she is unjust,
And wherefore say not I that I am old?
O, love's best habit is in seeming trust,
And age in love loves not to have years told.
Therefore I lie with her, and she with me,
And in our faults by lies we flattered be.
Poem on Friendship by: William Shakespeare
Full many a glorious morning have I see
Flatter the mountain-tops with sovereign eye,
Kissing with golden face the meadows green,
Gilding pale streams with heavenly alchemy;
Anon permit the basest clouds to ride
With ugly rack on his celestial face,
And from the forlorn world his visage hide,
Stealing unseen to west with this disgrace:
Even so my sun one early morn did shine
With all-triumphant splendour on my brow;
But out, alack! He was but one hour mine;
The region cloud hath mask'd him from me now.
Yet him for this my love no whit disdaineth;
Suns of the world may stain when heaven's sun staineth.

Everyone Should Have A Friend Like You
Everyone should have a friend like you
You are so much fun to be with
And you are such a good person
You crack me up with laughter
And touch my heart with your kindness
You have a wonderful ability
To know when to offer advice
And when to sit in quiet support
Time after time
You've come to my rescue
And brightened so many of my routine days
And time after time
I've realized how fortunate
I am that my life includes you
I really do believe that
Everybody should have a friend like you
But so far it looks like
You are one of a kind!
Hope I could even put some lines for my friend. But I am left with no words..except feelings..
